Donald Paul Bryan, 78, of Papaaloa Hawaii (near Hilo) died Aug. 26 at the Hilo Medical Center, Born in Tacoma, Washington, he was a forester and president of the Hawaii Forest Industry Association.  Survived by wife, Jana Bryan of Papaaloa; daughter, Julie (Rob) Bryan Pearson of Spokane, Washington; son Thomas Bryan of Richmond, Virginia; sisters, Joy (Dick) Eaton of Greenville South Carolina, Martha (Chuck) Woodbury of Forest Park, Illinois, Ruthie (John) Tomlinson of Seattle, Washington; and four beautiful grandchildren: Auggie, Ailsa, Luke and Annie.
